The fishing is great on Pelican Lake. There are bass, walleye, northern pike, crappie, and, of course, our famous bluegill all waiting to fill your day with fishing excitement.

 

Pelican Lake is known for its excellent smallmouth and largemouth bass fishing. We have shallow grassy lakebottom areas as well as deep rocky dropoffs and reefs to attract fish under a variety of weather conditions.

The smaller fish - perch, crappie, bluegill, etc. - make Pelican Lake a great place to be a large northern pike. We believe in keeping one or two fish and releasing the rest back to the lake. This keeps Pelican Lake the excellent fishery that it is, and assures all of us many more years of fishing enjoyment.
